The GVSCU Legacy Foundation is an independent, endowed Foundation. It was incorporated in 2009 in commemoration of the Greater Victoria Savings Credit Union and its long history of charitable work in the Greater Victoria area.

Barb and John Taylor were individuals who worked tirelessly to preserve and improve the quality of life for all people and animals, and to ensure the physical world on which we all depend remains healthy. It was their intention in setting up their donor advised fund that they might continue to support organizations doing this important work in perpetuity.

Marta and Stefan deeply appreciated the opportunities they received in Canada as Holocaust refugees, starting over with very little in a strange and new home. This Legacy Fund is dedicated to supporting refugee settlement; efforts to alleviate poverty, housing and food insecurity; environmental and climate solutions; and the arts.

The SEARA Fund was established to support BIPOC Artists facing financial hardship due to COVID-19.

The McLoughlin Gardens Society has plans to launch a membership drive, develop walking trails, install informational panels, and raise funds to convert the shed into an artist and writing studio, while also maintaining the house and gardens.

The Lulu Fund was created by Louise Leclair, in consultation with Barbara Pulling, as a means of supporting Vancouver-based community arts and social justice organizations.

The Arts for Life Fund was created in 2014 by Christine Rondeau and Alistair Stewart to support qualified donees that focus on art projects, work spaces and artists in Vancouver, including dance, theatre, fine art and music.

Gina Rubin and her mom Janis Eaglesham created the Chrion Fund in January 2000 to support organizations that contribute to the well-being of individuals with mental illness and their families. Gina's family believes that if people's stories and struggles on difficult subjects are shared more often, eventually it furthers the cause by removing prejudice, fear and isolation of those involved.

The JAMST Fibre Arts Fund provides annual scholarships and/or bursaries to students in the Textile Arts Program at Capilano University.
