Alex was born and raised on Vancouver Island where she attended Vancouver Island University, receiving her B.A. with a Major in Graphic Design. Over the last decade, she has resided in the Lower Mainland and feels enormous gratitude to live, work and play on the ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Alex has cultivated a career as a design and marketing professional across a variety of industries, honing her craft for bringing innovative creative solutions to life. She feels inspired and energized to work with an organization like VCF, where she can contribute to initiatives that have a meaningful impact on the community and align more closely with her personal goals and values. 

Outside of work, Alex can be found cuddling with her two cats, spending time with family and friends, enjoying nature, collecting antiques, working out at an F45 class, or listening to a true crime podcast.
