June and Susan Seto Legacy Fund
The June and Susan Seto Legacy Fund was established to honour the memories of June and Susan through its support of organizations primarily in or near Vancouver's Downtown Eastside that support Chinese-speaking and other immigrants, including families, children, and seniors.
Susan Seto immigrated to Canada in 1947 and her daughter, June, was born in 1948. Their lives reflected the experiences of many immigrants and their Canadian-born children. June and Susan took on the burden of caring for those around them. They both passed away in 2020, but their legacy - putting the needs of others before their own - lives on.
