Amy is excited to join the Foundation as a Community Program Officer. She has a background in the non-profit sector and full-cycle grant coordination. Amy holds a Master of Business Management from Sauder School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her educational focus was ethical business management and community development, which led to opportunities to work in rural Uganda, a community development program at UBC, and as a Human Resources Manager for a large non-profit in Penticton, BC. Amy brings an asset-based community development approach to projects and relationship-building with stakeholders.

For Amy, community development extends beyond work hours. She also coaches youth hockey and serves as a League Coordinator for a Women’s Hockey League.
